The First of Many Posts

Hello,

I’m glad you found my blog.  I am a big Star Control fan ever since the first game came out in the 1990s.  Star Control I and II both have places in my heart for being amazing science fiction video game masterpieces for its time, and still maintains an old-school pixellated look and feel and provides a good challenge to anyone who plays it for the first time.

Star Control I and II have been developed by the awesome developers, Toys for Bob.  Producer, Alex Ness wrote on their company website a few years ago that they would like to make a sequel to Star Control II with their current publishers, Activision.  Alex has been accepting fan mail that he can use to show Activision that a new Star Control can be successful in today’s billion-dollar gaming industry.

Ever since that announce, thousands of letters have been sent, and TFB has been working on a few unannounced games ever since.  With that time, there really isn’t a single place to share things Star Control related except for the Official UQM Forums.  The purpose of this blog is to share my thoughts about anything Star Control related, and to share anything cool that I find such as videos, pictures, and even other articles.

Anyways, I’m glad that you found this website.  I’m going to do some more work with this blog so that it doesn’t have the “Generic WordPress” look to it.

Also, there was another game developer who made another game called “Star Control 3”, and I don’t consider that game canon or the third of anything at all.  It was made without the consent of the gods Paul Reiche III and Fred Ford, and did many things that contradict a well-written storyline, and horribly portrait every race (including humans) using animatronic puppets with limited movements.  If I ever mention it, I will refer to it as “SCNot3”.
